2.DELICIOUS MOROCCAN FOOD

Your belly will be happy during your stay in Morocco as it gets to know the most flavorful spices and hearty dishes. Thanks to the variety of agriculture you will eat locally, seasonally and healthy which makes it also easy to find vegetarian or vegan options.
You should definitely try this:
At every time of the day you will see people drinking tea. Served in silver pots and small glasses, you can celebrate a nice glass of green tea with fresh mint inside. 
Prepared in the traditional clay pot and cooked slowly you will find many different Tajines throughout Morocco.There are various different recipes from vegetables over chicken, fish or meat. With a lot of flavorful spices, olives and dried fruits it gives you the traditional moroccan taste.
Every Friday in Morocco is Couscous Day. After a long prayer people come together to eat and share big plates of Couscous.
Close to the ocean you should definitely try the fresh fish which is caught every morning by fishermen in small boats. Always a good choice: Sardines which are served grilled, fried or as street food in a sandwich with fries.
Lots and lots of delicious sweets are waiting for you. Freshly baked biscuits, cakes or moroccan pancakes (msemen) you will find in every corner of the country. 
Harira is a hearty soup, a traditional favorite during Ramadan and combines tomatoes, lentils, chickpeas, and a rich blend of spices. Served with dates and pastries, it’s a comforting dish that warms the soul.

3. RICH CULTURE

Morocco’s culture is influenced by Berber Traditions, Islamic influences and the colonial past. The cultural richness lies in its mix of ancient traditions with modern influences, creating a culture that fascinates visitors from around the world.
The call to prayer echoes through cities 5 times a day, while mosques stand as architectural marvels. Ramadan, Eid celebrations, and traditional rituals show the richness of Islamic religion and traditions.
A traditional handcraft scene with leather goods, carpets, pottery and woodwork is part of the culture. You can find beautiful souvenirs and home goods to bring home for family, friends or yourself.
Respect for elders and a strong sense of community are integral to Moroccan culture. Politeness and hospitality are valued traits in social interactions.
